IHEEM members will soon be able to buy specially-produced Institute ties and scarves. Earlier this year, following a request in Health Estate Journal, members were asked to give their opinion on a range of designs for a new tie for gentlemen and scarf for lady members (HEJ – March 2009).
Following a successful vote, these have been put into production and will be launched and available for purchase from the IHEEM Stand (M60) at this month’s Healthcare Estates Conference and Exhibition, and thereafter from IHEEM’s head office. Priced at £5.00 each, the tie and scarf are both 100% silk and feature a light blue stripe on a dark blue background, with the IHEEM logo prominent. They will remain for sale at the special price until 31 December. Chris Parker, IHEEM’s recruitment and membership manager, said: “Ties or scarves remain one of the best ways of displaying allegiance to a particular club or society.
