Staff who had delivered some of the first training courses at Eastwood Park, the Gloucestershire-based training establishment for hospital support services (HEJ – Septermber 2009), were among the 70 guests to attend a recent 40th anniversary reception.
Also attending were representatives from awarding bodies and industry associations, with many enjoying the opportunity to visit the centre again and tour the facilities. A former NHS training and conference centre established in 1969 as a hospital engineering centre by the DHSS, Eastwood Park is now privately owned, and has seen significant growth in its technical training provision, alongside a thriving conference and weddings business.
