Details of the first in a series of seminars scheduled by the Institute this year, “Planning to achieve carbon reduction commitment targets for healthcare premises – practical information and guidance”, have been released.
Covering topics including the Carbon Reduction Commitment; current relevant HTM documents; “creating a carbon strategy document”; “roles and responsibilities”, and “optimising low and zero carbon technologies”, the seminar will be held in Birmingham on 24 March; London on 20 April; Leeds on 29 April, and in Edinburgh on a date to be confirmed. Speakers from Government departments and industry will discuss the latest legislation and the implications for healthcare buildings, and offer advice on how to develop carbon reduction strategies.
