Washroom design issues explained

Twyford Bushboards has launched a brand new RIBA Approved CPD presentation which aims to inform architects how the Building Regulations, Part M, the DDA and BS8300 affect washroom design.

The 40 minute presentation draws together the requirements of Part M, the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (DDA), and BS8300. Through the use of photographs, animations, and movies, it provides a concise introduction to the provision of disabled facilities in public washrooms.

The company also has two other RIBA approved CPD presentations, one explaining ready plumbed modules detailing the speed and ease of installation as well as the cost effectiveness of the units. The other looks at ready-plumbed sanitaryware for healthcare environments and the clinical, financial, and engineering issues surrounding them.
