IHEEM now has a second membership officer, with the recruitment of Kate Newman (pictured), who will “job share” in the role with existing staff member Clair Sandford.
Kate Newman last worked around two years ago as PA to the finance director at a firm of Portsmouth solicitors, Blake Lapthorn Linnell. She said: “I wanted to get back into a working environment while still being there for my children, who are aged 6, 7, and 10, and are all at school.” A parent-governor at her youngest son’s infant school, the latest IHEEM head office team member is a regular gym-goer, and also much enjoys needlecraft and cooking. She added: “I am already very much enjoying working for IHEEM, with a great bunch of people here in Portsmouth.”
