Wolseley, the specialist trade distributor of plumbing and heating products, has appointed Steve Ashmore as its UK managing director.
Aged 45, he has considerable construction materials distribution sector experience and, since 2008, has been MD of Wolseley’s UK “Heavyside” businesses of Build Center, Drain Center, Brandon Hire, and Encon. Before joining Wolseley in October 2005 as UK brand development director, he spent over 11 years with supply chain and third party logistics provider Exel.
