Radiology has witnessed a “technological evolution” in the past few decades, with the growth of digital radiology (DR) in particular fuelled by the clinical value of PACS systems.
So says a Frost & Sullivan report, “European Markets for Digital and Computed Radiography”, which explains that with the economy recovering, and capital becoming available to potential buyers, the unit shipment volume in radiology is expected to gain momentum in 2011, mostly in the DR segment.
