The new Well Street Surgery in London’s Hackney, designed by architects Stock Woolstencroft, has opened on the site of a Victorian textile factory in Shore Road, close to the practice’s former home.
The scheme saw a four-storey, steel framed factory to the site’s rear refurbished to provide the principal clinical accommodation, while waiting areas, circulation space, and reception, are housed in a new building, with a striking façade. Facilities include accommodation for 15 GPs.
