How control systems can ensure renewables “deliver on their promises” – both in terms of carbon savings and financial payback; getting the best from existing HVAC infrastructure,
and how continuous commissioning and a “structured approach” to total energy management can save users money, will be among topics discussed at the London HEVAR event, being held from 22-23 of this month at London’s Royal Horticultural Halls. Described as “the essential event for the UK’s heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration sector”, the two-day conference and exhibition will incorporate a number of seminars featuring speakers representing organisations such as the Heating and Ventilating Contractors’ Association; Siemens, British Gas New Energy, Spirotech, CIBSE, Low Carbon UK, and AECOM, as well as half-hour roundtables. The event promises to offer specifiers and users of HVAC equipment, such as healthcare estates managers, architects, and mechanical and electrical consultants, a combination of valuable technical advice and “tips”, as well as information on the latest regulations and standards. The accompanying exhibition will feature at least 60 exhibitors showing heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment, products and services, while the evening of the first day will see the presentation, by Heating and Ventilating Review magazine, of the HVR Awards 2010.
