ASSA ABLOY’s Aperio technology will be showcased at Healthcare Estates 2010, with the company demonstrating how it can be can be considered as part of an infection control solution in healthcare buildings while also addressing the issue of movement of people around a facility.
Aperio enables mechanical locks to be wirelessly linked to an existing access control system without any need to modify the door, using “existing card credentials on additional online doors”. The result is real-time audits and instant updates of access restrictions via the existing access control system.
