The Healthcare Facilities Consortium (HFC) and Focused FM will be attending the Healthcare Estates Conference and Exhibition at Manchester Central on 5 and 6 October 2010.
For the second year running we are sponsoring the “Focus on FM” area of the exhibition, a section specifically allocated to companies which provide facilities management (FM) services and products to the healthcare sector.
HFC provides information, management support services, and software, to healthcare professionals working in facilities, estates, and related functions. Focused FM is a brand we use when we work collaboratively with other companies and associations such as IHEEM, AHCP, DH, HefmA, HFS, and the national Northern Irish and Welsh healthcare estates departments.
Our aim is to provide effective, value-for-money facilities management solutions, and we estimate that a healthcare organisation subscribing to our services can save up to ten times its subscription fee per annum. We are able to offer these savings by providing a wide range of subscription benefits covering such areas as policy, professional indemnity insurance, benchmarking, networking, job-seeking, events, and access to our own long-running FM-themed annual conference.
Joining us at the Healthcare Estates Conference this year will be two of our software development partners; Pierce Management Services with Credits for Cleaning (C4C), and Premier Software with Apollo-fm.
C4C is the cleaning management and monitoring system that was commissioned by the English Department of Health to monitor and audit the requirements to the National Standards, which now include regional variants for Scotland, Ireland, and Wales, which have slightly different requirements to the English health service. The Welsh Assembly Government has adopted C4C as its national standard for the monitoring of cleaning standards across the Welsh health service.
Apollo-fm is a fully featured web-based FM software solution with PDA capabilities. Developed and refined over many years with the input and direction of healthcare FM staff across the UK, Apollo-fm includes a number of modules specifically designed with estates and facilities department efficiency in mind, including a helpdesk, purchase orders, financial control, capital charges, job planning, Legionella compliance, and data analysis tools, among others. Both products are available at a significant discount to HFC subscribers.
HFC can be found on stand number C50, and Focused FM on stand number D51, with both stands located in the “Focus on FM” area of the exhibition (in the top left of the official floor plan).
