Jubilee Gardens Health Centre and Library, described by architects Penoyre & Prasad as Ealing’s most ambitious healthcare project to date under the LIFT initiative, has been officially opened by MP for Ealing Southall, Virendra Sharma.
Developed jointly by NHS Ealing and Ealing Council with LIFT developer Building Better Health, the £4.9 million development integrates a health centre and library, featuring accommodation for two local GP practices, and community treatment and specialist facilities including audiology, maternity, and podiatry and leg ulcer clinics. The Willmott Dixon-constructed building includes a well-lit doubleheight public foyer to provide health information, leading to a community meeting space, while the new branch library, “now much more attractive to all generations”, offers PC terminals, media loans, and books.
