An introduction to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, examining what the legislation means for the “Responsible Person” and building owners, as well as risk assessment and the identification of potential fire hazards, and the topic of enforcement, will be presented at a South-West branch seminar in Bristol on 12 January.
Being held at Gleeds’ offices in Bristol Parkway North, the event will commence at 6.00 pm for a 6.30 pm start, refreshments will be provided, and entrance, to both members and non-members, is free. The presentation on the “RRO” will be given by a representative from Siemens Technologies and Fire Safety, while the evening event will also incorporate a Chief Fire Officers Association address examining the CFOA policy for reducing the number of false alarms generated by fire alarm systems and enhancing fire safety management at protected businesses.
