The next Advanced Course in Sterilization Technology and the Qualifying Course for Authorised Person (Sterilizers) Registration Year 2006 is to commence imminently.
The Advanced Course in Sterlization Technology provides an in-depth understanding of sterilization processes with a comprehensive range of linked topics at an advanced level covered – the topics include regulations, standards, legal requirements, microbiology, environmental control, auditing, cleaning and disinfection. This is also the qualifying course and thus one of the essential requirements for registration as an AP(S) as defined in HTM 2010. It is run by Healthcare Science on behalf of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management. The course commencing shortly will be held at Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
