Welsh Health Estates in association with the IHEEM Welsh Branch have announced further details of their joint conference to be staged in Cardiff on 30 and 31 March 2006.
The event will cover a number of key topics including collaborative working, design, sustainability, single-bed rooms, ventilation, patient safety and isolation facilities.
Among the speakers will be Professor Roger Ulrich, director of the Center for Health Systems and Design, Texas A & M University; Sue Osborn, joint chief executive, National Patient Safety Agency; Carole-Anne Davies, chief executive, Design Commission for Wales; Malcolm Thomas, IHEEM, author of a number of engineering Health Technical Memorandums; and Elizabeth Pomeroy, senior analyst, Sustainable Development Commission.
The conference will take place at the Hilton Hotel which is situated in the unique Victorian Civic Centre and opposite the magnificent Cardiff Castle.
An exhibition will also be located within the hotel’s spacious atrium adjoining the conference suite.
