A “definitive new best practice document” on the safe use of telehandlers has been launched by the British Industrial Truck Association’s (BITA) Strategic Forum Plant Safety Group.
“Safe Use of Telehandlers in Construction” is intended to help operators reduce their risks of accident and injury. The guidance is downloadable from the Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) and BITA websites at www.cpa.uk.net/p/Telehandlers and www.bita.org.uk respectively.
