The EMCOR Group (UK) has become the UK’s first facilities management provider to achieve a BSI standard, BS 11000, that recognises “improved strategic collaboration across public and private organisations”, and “the importance of collaborative working on a global scale”.
In April 2010 the UK Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of New York Stock Exchange-listed EMCOR Group Inc, achieved the same feat with the PAS 11000 standard for Collaborative Business Relationships, on which BS 11000 builds.
