Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust (WWL) recently turned to healthcare digital signage specialist Saturn to design and deploy an electronic display screen network for use across four hospital sites within an ambitious two-week window.
Saturn was awarded the £100,000 project following a successful pilot. Saturn worked closely with WWL’s marketing and communications, estates, facilities, and IT teams to install 40”, 46”, and 52” digital signage screens in high dwell areas. Content – including local and Trust-wide information, Trust news, details of infection control initiatives, and general announcements – is displayed on NEC screens with in-built PC technology, managed by Saturn’s scalable Connectvision software.
