Mark Fordham, who has recently joined Eastwood Park as training consultant in its dedicated decontamination centre, brings with him 24 years of engineering experience within the defence sector – the past eight devoted to providing equipment support to the Defence Medical Services “in the most demanding of environments”.
The new Eastwood Park recruit has a broad knowledge of procurement, equipment support, system safety, and engineering management skills, derived from an accomplished technical background. He is already actively involved in installing gas plasma technology and wireless test equipment at the Gloucestershire training establishment, and creating a dedicated dental decontamination area. New courses this year at Eastwood Park include “An Introduction to decontamination operations”, and “Decontamination lead role and responsibilities”.
