Manufacturer of call systems and electrical accessories Wandsworth and German electrical technology specialist Jung have signed an agreement giving Wandsworth exclusive UK sales rights for Jung’s “stylish ranges” of wiring accessories and door communications.
Jung will continue to manufacture the products, with the move putting Wandsworth’s 150-strong team behind the drive and enabling both companies to exploit the “many synergies” between their product ranges. The Wandsworth team has already undergone intensive product training at Jung’s purpose-built Schalksmühle training facility. “We have never sold through distributors in the UK because our products are for the niche market where design and quality matter,” said Jung export manager Wolfgang Becker. “In Wandsworth we have found a partner we can trust to deliver those values in the UK marketplace, and one with the resources to drive understanding and uptake of our products. In the coming months we will also be introducing Wandsworth to the workings of the ‘intelligent’ KNX building control system.”
