Durable, fire safety-tested lock

A heavy duty electronic push-button lock that has achieved fire safety and durability testing to American National Standards Institute (ANSI) grade 1 – the highest accreditation level, confirming its robustness against heavy use, has been introduced by Codelocks.

The CL6000 has been accredited to the ANSI/BMHA standards A156.2-2003 and A156.25-2007 for door hardware covering locks and handle sets.
“This product was originally developed for the North American market, where products for many commercial applications require grade 1 certification,” explained Codelocks MD, Grant Macdonald. “In the UK we have heavy duty locks designed specifically for high traffic areas, in hospitals or schools for example, but now we can offer a product with the highest level of accreditation for its durability, plus a three-hour UL/ULC fire rating.”
Each brushed steel lock has full-size lever handles, and is designed as a primary lock for internal and external doors.
