Airwave Healthcare has completed the supply and integration of a new patient entertainment and digital signage system to the privately-run St Anthony’s Hospital in North Cheam, Surrey.
The hospital selected Airwave to provide 90 26” Samsung Hospitality Mode HD LCD TVs with in-built OLED clocks, and wipe-down infection control remote control units, for use across the facility. The hospital has also been equipped with Airwave’s AirSign digital signage system to provide and broadcast “realtime” information across the television network for both in-room patient and outpatient areas. The new televisions replaced existing analogue sets; installation and commissioning took just three days, “with great support from the St Anthony’s estates staff”. Airwave sales and marketing director Paul Chambers, added: “The AirSign information channel can be selected and broadcast on a dedicated channel, set up as the default start-up channel if required. This channel can also be used for cross-promotional opportunities, including local advertising. Users can build impressive, high-impact digital signage presentations, and control their own information channel, without years of experience, or months of training.”
