Haigh would like to thank all those who visited its stand at November’s Healthcare Estates event, where the company exhibited the SOLO and award-winning Panaway units from its Sluicemaster range.
The company said: “This year’s Healthcare Estates exhibition in Manchester generated lots of interest in products across the Haigh macerator product range.”
Haigh products include the “highly successful” Sluicemaster range, comprising the SOLO, Classic+, and Panaway with Hands-Free Opening and Autostart function. From single bedpan disposal solutions to multiple product macerators, each has patented Bugban technology built in, offering an increased level of protection.
Described as “the ideal solution for busy wards”, the Panaway disposes of up to four items, and operates with Hands-Free Opening, Autostart, and an 85-second cycle time.
Offering small wards a quiet, fast solution, the SOLO disposes of a single pulp item in under 60 seconds using only cold water and a small amount of electricity.
The Classic+ disposes of four pulp products in under two minutes, using only 24 litres of cold water.
The Sluicemaster range offers the added benefit of full service and support “with total peace of mind”. Haigh provides a full, dedicated after-care service via highly trained service engineers.
Haigh has also confirmed that its products have just been re-accredited for WRAS approval for the next five years. Highly regarded within the industry, WRAS approval is granted directly by representatives of the water supply companies, and is therefore accepted by the industry UK-wide.
Martin Price, Haigh’s chief design engineer, said: “WRAS approval is mandatory for products such as ours, and gives continued peace of mind to all of our customers. WRAS is one of a number of industry regulations that we operate within, and we are committed to demonstrating our technical compliance, commitment to quality, and innovation, through this and other certifications, such as ISO 14001 environmental accreditation. We are also Constructionline and Achilles certified."
