Martek has manufactured and installed hard-wearing, stylish bespoke fixed furniture for the new 512-bed Tunbridge Wells Hospital in Pembury, the UK’s first large acute hospital offering 100% single room, en suite accommodation.
The company designed, manufactured, and installed 114 nursing stations, several feature reception desks, and other specialist joinery elements, including a fold-down carer bed for each of the 27 locations in the paediatric unit.
