Manufacturer of medical refrigerators Lec has updated its pharmacy range to include a number of practical and innovative features. Recognising the busy environment in which the majority of pharmacy refrigerators operate in, the enhancements aim to make the range more user-friendly than ever.
Anecdotal evidence suggests that it is not unusual for equipment such as refrigerators to be accidentally unplugged, with potentially disastrous and expensive consequences. Lec has taken a practical step in combating this with the introduction of a bright red plug, clearly marked to warn against accidental disconnection.
Finally, to encourage and facilitate best practice and compliance, all the company's pharmacy refrigerators are now supplied with a temperature monitoring record and a "quick guide". The A5-sized quick guide is affixed to the front on the appliance to provide clear and simple guidelines to using the appliance electronic controls correctly, while the monitoring record provides a straightforward way of recording minimum and maximum temperatures on a daily basis – recommended as being best practice in the Green Book Guidelines.
