Nittan, a manufacturer of fire detection products, has seen the first UK installation of its new EV-PS analogue addressable photoelectric smoke sensor with built-in sounder, at a new medical centre, the Cranleigh Gardens Medical Centre, in Bridgwater, Somerset.
Fullstop Fire and Security has installed a fire detection system featuring Evolution EV-PS sensors from Nittan. The supplier says that, “unlike other smoke sensors on the market” that require a separate sounder base to be installed, the Evolution EV-PS optical smoke sensor comes with the sounder fully integrated within the sensor itself. The unit also has a lower profile for unobtrusive appearance, and, despite its compact size, still incorporates “the latest sophisticated alarm technology for exceptional reliability and performance”.
