Eastwood Park’s new 2012 course calendar presents a range of training opportunities for all involved in specialist healthcare equipment, engineering, and facilities management.
The training provider said: “The wide range of accredited courses cover basic essentials, through work-based learning and short refresher training, to advanced degree-level learning, and all reflect new industry developments and the latest legislative codes of practice and HTM guidelines.” Refresher training is mandatory in many areas to ensure compliance, and two new courses added to Eastwood Park’s existing refresher training include:
• Medical gas pipeline systems – quality controller refresher.
• Release of trapped passengers (lifts) refresher.

Training manager for work-based learning, Carol Holloway, is keen to hear from those with a decontamination background keen to become Eastwood Park assessors /IQAs, and those who are already qualified.
