The Heating and Ventilating Contractors’ Association (HVCA) is rebranding, and, from the beginning of this month, will be known as the Building & Engineering Services Association (B&ES).
Established in 1904 as the National Association of Master Heating and Domestic Engineers, the organisation adopted the HVCA name in 1963. Bob Shelley, HVCA President, comments: “These days the term ‘H&V’ barely scratches the surface of the diverse, sophisticated, and highly complex nature of the work our members now undertake.”
