Static Systems’ Fusion-IP healthcare communication system now includes a ‘simple, highly cost-effective’, patient entertainment solution for hospital wards.
Fusion nurse call patient hand units will now operate ‘off-the-shelf’ televisions using SSG’s Patient Entertainment ‘app’, which harnesses the standard infra-red functionality on all new televisions, eliminating the need for a separate TV remote control. Patients receive Freeview television and radio at no cost, while the hospital avoids the expense of bespoke terminals, and is not tied into a contract.
