Commercial showering and washroom control specialist, Rada, is urging ‘a holistic approach to handwashing in the fight against infection’ with a new four-step guide to ‘assist healthcare professionals in specifying and maintaining the right handwashing applications for their requirements’.
Founded on key guidance notes, Health Technical Memoranda, and building notes, ‘Rada Recommends’ sets out the key points for NHS facilities, estates, infection control, and nursing staff to consider ‘to achieve compliant hygiene levels and, ultimately, safe environments for patient care.’ The free guide, an insert within this month’s HEJ, covers four steps – from ‘selecting the right product for hand hygiene applications’, through to effective installation and maintenance, and appropriate usage and cleaning of handwashing installations.
