Harrogate event will provide fresh insights

The UK continues to be in the midst of the greatest ever investment and construction programme in new healthcare buildings, and this year’s Healthcare Estates Conference and Exhibition (Harrogate International Centre, 6-7 November) will provide fresh updates on many aspects of delivering excellence in environments for patient care.

The conference keynote address will be given by the Rt Hon Jane Kennedy MP Minister of State for Delivery and Quality at the Department for Health; and also included in the line-up of speakers is Rob Smith, the new director of the Estates and Facilities Division of the Department of Health.

The conference will feature over 80 speakers giving delegates a great deal of information on design, construction, estate management and engineering issues. Probed will be efficiency in the construction process, and examined will be the creation of environments conducive to patient well-being and to maintaining good morale among clinical and other personnel.
