Furniture, fixtures, and fittings, for the recently completed £276 m South West Acute Hospital in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland’s first NHS hospital with 100% single patient bedrooms, were manufactured and installed by Deanestor.
Recently opened by The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh as part of the sovereign’s Jubilee tour, the hospital is considered one of Europe’s most modern. Deanestor has supplied the construction industry for over 60 years, and says it uses the experience gained to deliver ‘innovative healthcare furniture solutions with high quality modern finishes that are durable and easy to clean’. The company said: “Healthcare furniture provides solutions to very specific requirements. Every project is unique, from design and manufacture, to installation on site. Our customers include NHS Trusts, main contractors, architects, and local authorities, who require bespoke furniture for refurbishment and new build projects.”
