Visitors to the Trend Control stand will ‘discover how 84% of their healthcare estate’s energy consumption could be controlled by using a building energy management system (BEMS)’.
With many buildings already incorporating a BEMS, Trend’s experts will ‘explain how saving energy and money could be within easy reach’. ‘Innovations and highlights’ will include a working demonstration of Trend Energy Manager – a ‘powerful, easy-to-use, energy monitoring package’ installable on a healthcare estate’s own server. Using meter readings and other variables logged by the BEMS, it provides ‘automatic reporting, and rapid diagnosis’ of energy overuse. In the Health Estate Journal Product Showcase area, Trend will host a case study-based presentation titled Developments in the Control of Naturally Ventilated Healthcare Buildings, addressing ‘the latest intelligent window control package that can be integrated within a BEMS to maximise natural ventilation’s benefits’.
