New parent company name for water treatment companies

Puresep Technologies and Environmental Water Systems (UK) say they will continue ‘as leading brands’ in their respective markets as a new parent name, Envirogen Water Technologies, is revealed for the UK and European operations. The announcement follows the official merger of the two water treatment and filtration specialists in January 2012.

Envirogen Water Technologies says the scale of the new company will allow ‘delivery of best value, best choice, and best quality in the industry’.

The businesses say: “Although the parent company of the joint venture is Envirogen Water Technologies, the Environmental Water Systems (UK) and Puresep brands will continue to serve customers in their specific markets – namely healthcare, industrial, and food and beverage.  Puresep is the food and beverage market-facing brand for process filtration, on-site water treatment, and waste water solutions, offering customers an end-to-end solution for incoming, process, and waste water needs.

Environmental Water Systems (UK), meanwhile, continues to bring to market cost- effective healthcare solutions for ultra-pure water applications across departments such as endoscopy and central sterile services.”

Both brands currently look after industrial customers, but the Group plans to launch Envirogen Industrial into the marketplace, as it says this part of the business is experiencing ‘significant growth’.
The Envirogen Water Group’s comprehensive service offering, PureCare, offers customers a choice of 24/7 maintenance agreements, with the best being a four-hour onsite response. As part of a group, and equipped with in-house expert engineers across the UK, the Group says it can offer ‘the most customer–focussed bespoke service levels.’

The Group can also offer DBFO and long term lease options for wastewater and effluent treatment plants, where Envirogen offers customers project financing and integrated water operations and management. It says customers benefit ‘in a number of ways’; for example via faster, more cost-efficient project delivery, and by requiring less capital to invest in effluent treatment. With predicted growth in global demand for long-term lease options, the Group says it is well placed to serve this market.
The Group added: “Customers and suppliers will start to see the Envirogen branding more in the market, but purely as the legal parent company trading name.”

MD of European Operations, Vince Payne, explained: “Bringing together leading water treatment and process filtration organisations means we can better respond to our customers a single source supplier, meeting their demands and needs, particularly in the current climate, and investing more in research and development, and our PureCare service offering.

“We are also heavily involved in waste water DBO/DBFO contracts, as we now have the in-house ability, structure, and experience”

Envirogen Water Technologies also has an operation in Milan, Fluxa Filtri, which specialises in the oil and gas market, while The Envirogen Group has a number of locations in the US, including Houston, Memphis, and California, where the key specialist markets are mining and Industrial wastewater.
