Sodexo has won a five-year contract (with an option for a two-year extension) to deliver total soft FM services for Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust.
With an annual turnover of over £15 m, the contract, delivery of which began last month, will reportedly be one of the largest of its kind to be awarded by the NHS during the course of 2012. The Trust provides acute services across two sites – the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, and the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath, treating over 750,000 patients annually. Sodexo has provided soft FM services to the Princess Royal Hospital since 1996.
