America’s Fingi has appointed Airwave Europe as exclusive UK distributor of its mobile platform, which enables hospital patients to operate room controls, access patient services, and communicate with nurses, using their smartphones.
Airwave will be the UK and EU supplier of the system, which allows patients to control in-room lighting, air-conditioning, television, and entertainment services. The technology also allows hospital management staff to communicate hospital news, services, and events, directly to patients in their beds.
