Static Systems Group’s latest nurse call ‘app’ harnesses recent advances in VoIP technology to enhance patient-tostaff communication and improve staff efficiency in healthcare establishments.

Using industry standard SIP and RTP protocols, the addition of the Fusion-IP VoIP speech ‘app’ enables routing of calls on the nurse call system to wireless handsets, meaning mobile medical staff can answer patient calls immediately via their personal handsets, and then either deal with patients immediately, or grade the call dependent on its urgency.
