A major step forward in the area of medical imaging has been taken by the largest NHS Trust in Wales.
As a major healthcare provider that has hospitals, accident and emergency departments, and outpatient departments, the Trust was challenged to deliver affordable, timely care and reduce lengthy work processes.
As the largest NHS Trust in Wales and one of the largest in the UK, Cardiff and Vale NHS Trust provides day-to-day health services to some 500,000 people living in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
It provides hospital treatment, mental healthcare, care for elderly people and children as well as a growing range of community-based services, including specialist dental services and new therapies, as alternatives to hospital admission.
