Manufacturer of anti-ligature products and door and wall protection, Intastop, will show its new Door Top Alarm, ‘developed through consultations with a variety of customers from the mental health industry’.

The Door Top Alarm is an antiligature product for use on the tops of doors to detect if weight is applied. The mains-powered system has a tamperproof element with a variable alarmed delay setting, and is compatible with most staff attack systems that can alert staff via an audible alarm, visible light, staff indicator panel, or via a pager or main computer.” Suitable for both retrofit and new build, the Door Top Alarm is compatible with a variety of additional anti-ligature products from Intastop, such as its single or double swing hinge. Sarah Barsby added: “We view this new conference and exhibition event as a perfect opportunity to address the issues of mental health from a practical standpoint. We know from our work with UK hospitals and mental health facilities that environment really does have an impact on recovery rates.”
