Static Systems Group, a longestablished alarm and communication system supplier for healthcare environments, will show its Fusion-IP call and real time location system, and fire detection equipment.
Fusion-IP offers ‘comprehensive solutions’ for staff-to-staff and patientto- staff communication, including call buttons, intercom, and ‘follow-thelight’ functionality, to guide staff quickly and efficiently to a waiting call. The Fusion-IP attack alarm system shown uses ultrasound technology for what Static Systems says is ‘a higher level of reliability and room accuracy than many other technologies’. Its ‘powerful’ logic software analyses the last known location of the ultrasound signal and, once activated by a user – in the event of attack – tracks the person under attack in ‘real time’ if they move from their original alarm location. Also exhibited will be a detachable smoke detector designed predominantly for areas that provide care for at-risk patients. The unit utilises a standard multi-criteria detector with a purpose-designed mounting base to provide anti-ligature protection (see photo) to ensure the safety of occupants.
