Designed for ‘challenging behaviour’

Specialist furniture designed for use in ‘demanding’ environments will be being shown by Knightsbridge Furniture. The Knightsbridge Challenging Behaviour Furniture Collection comprises a portfolio of seating, tables, and cabinet units ‘designed to be safe, robust, and yet still stylish’.

A diversity of options and applications is covered under the ‘Furniture With Purpose’ umbrella, from comfortable upholstered seating and modular seating/table ‘combos’ for lounge and reception areas, to contemporary foam seating and smart upright chairs for dining, activity, and family rooms. Coffee, occasional, and dining tables, complement the seating, while bedroom furniture includes beds, wardrobes, desks, drawer chests, and bedside units. The collection also embraces furniture for residents with special needs – such as seating for bariatric users, and bedroom cabinets to aid dementia patients. The Collection can also form the basis of complete bespoke projects, exemplified by the contract to design, manufacture, and install, furniture in the State Hospital at Carstairs in Lanarkshire – one of only four UK high security psychiatric hospitals.
