Using web-enabled software to offer online permit applications allows clients to set out clear parameters for different permit types, with the option of printing and mailing. Enforcement of unauthorised vehicles via a system of using PDAs to issue tickets, and then transferring data in real-time to the back office, allows commencement of the next stage of the enforcement process. The company added: “WDL takes no interest in the ticket revenue, so processes and outcomes are defined solely by the outcomes the operator aspires to. The solution typically includes detailed management of the appeals process.
