Cistermiser once again demonstrated its wide range of washroom control solutions, including water-saving systems featuring the latest infrared control technology.
Sensazone, for example, is an intelligent IR sensor-operated system designed to control water supply and light and fan functions in washrooms. Fulfilling the automatic sanitary water supply shut-off requirement in BREEAM Wat 4, the system operates via a PIR sensor, which triggers a solenoid valve to open at the water supply entry point, and ensures the valve is closed during periods of no occupation. All light fittings are controlled to react to daylight, with a sensor ensuring activation only when natural lighting levels are insufficient. Extractor fan operation can also be configured; users can either control the fan run-on-time, or use the fan unit’s own timer facility.
