Eastwood Park Training is returning to Healthcare Estates ‘to make several significant announcements’, while CEO, John Thatcher, will address ‘Succession planning and workforce development in healthcare engineering and estate management’ on the conference’s first day.
Technical healthcare engineering experts will be on hand to advise on the wide range of training offered, and launch ‘several new initiatives’. There will also be a joint announcement with IHEEM on a new competency-based programme for the Authorised Person and Authorising Engineer, and ‘news on further investment and growth’. Senior personnel will discuss new training reflecting changes in several HTMs over recent months, the latest European guidance, and CfPP. They will also provide information on the new Level 3 work-based learning opportunities in healthcare support services; training to address the safety of working with medical equipment in the community; the ‘refreshed’ practical biomedical equipment maintenance programme, and recently updated water hygiene portfolio, plus the now established ‘Essentials for Estates’ course, encompassing budget planning, maintenance, health & safety, HR, and general management issues.
