‘Protection is at the heart’ of Reliance’s range for the healthcare bathroom, the specialist in temperature and flow control explains. Reliance offers TMV3-approved thermostatic technology ‘for peace of mind in hospital and care home sanitary water systems’.
The company said: “Thermostatic mixing valves, taps, and shower controls, protect against scalding and Legionella growth. Extended lever handles, or infrared activation, facilitate operation by those with restricted dexterity or movement, and enable nonmanual use – to minimise crosscontamination risk for all users.” The Showerguard C3 Concealed Sequential Shower Control (pictured) is among Reliance’s expanding range of shower controls and fittings for healthcare washrooms. Providing TMV3- approved protection, it is ‘engineered for straightforward installation and maintenance’. Removal of the cover plate allows access to components, and Reliance’s ‘unique’ cartridge-style construction means the thermostatic working parts can be serviced/replaced in one piece.
