Spirax Sarco will showcase energy expertise

Spirax Sarco is fielding an expert presence at this year’s Healthcare Estates exhibition on stand F25, where a team of steam specialists will be available to offer advice on any energy- related need.

Visitors to the stand will be able to enjoy a free coffee, freshly made by the on-stand barista, and chat with any of Spirax Sarco’s energy experts about meeting their sustainability goals – whether the aim is to lower energy consumption, meet emissions targets, or reduce risk.

Spirax Sarco said: “As well as providing long-term gains, steam system improvements often bring rapid payback, delivering the ‘quick wins’ that hard-pressed estates managers are looking for. Spirax Sarco’s experts can even help you identify and secure funding for energy- saving projects.”
For instance, working with Kettering Hospital to secure government funding for an energy reduction project, Spirax Sarco says it proved that switching from calorifiers to Spirax EasiHeat systems would reduce energy consumption by between 6-10%.

Also at this year’s event, Paul Mayoh, the company’s technical manager, will deliver a talk during the conference, on 8 October at 2 pm, offering advice on four main areas of modern boiler house operations for today’s healthcare estate managers:

-    New boiler regulations.
-    Boiler blowdown.
-    Heat recovery.
-    Level measurement.

The seminar will also deliver guidance on ‘the best available technologies for energy’, and address control tips and techniques for operators and managers to safely run an industrial boiler.
