Over 200 companies representing every sector of healthcare – from clinical equipment, to energy supply, and from furniture and building materials, to consultancy services – will showcase their latest products, services, systems, and innovations, to what is likely to be a receptive audience keen to operate and maintain their own healthcare estates more efficiently, smoothly, and productively, in Manchester this month. “With such great content in the conference, we have had to work hard this year to give delegates enough time to circulate with over 200 exhibiting companies,” explains event director, Steve Webb. “The level of innovation on show, and the number of companies tackling many of the issues healthcare establishments face day to day with some really first-class products, equipment, and, for example, consultancy services, make the exhibition an important date in the diary of any hospital maintenance, estates management, and facilities team. “The importance of this annual event for both visitors, who come to learn and find solutions, while enjoying debate with colleagues and experts from across the sector, and those companies showcasing their products and services, is apparent from the level of interest and support we see each year.” Some of the biggest names in the healthcare sector, and the largest companies in the UK, will be exhibiting this year, including E.ON, Cynergin, British Gas, British Gypsum, Dalkia, ProCure21+, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Capita, Static Systems, Dalkia, ‘and many more’. September’s HEJ incorporated a full Healthcare Estates 2013 preview section (pages 85-118) highlighting both key conference features, and looking at what exhibition visitors could expect this year, including an initial round-up of what around 60 key exhibitors will be showing. In the following pages we focus on some of the other product and service innovations on show.
