DAQS Europe will showcase its ‘latest generation’ MD vertical packaged/integrated environmental control airhandling units, designed specifically for healthcare environments.
The range has been designed to comply with HTM 03-01 requirements, and incorporates the latest technologies – high efficiency EC fans, low air resistance Cu/Cu hydrophilic coils, heat-pipe heat recovery, large area/ low resistance filters, and fully integrated microprocessor controls and BMS communication. The company said: “The MD range offers full environmental control, unprecedented energy efficiency, and large capacityto- footprint ratio; occupying 30% or less floor-space than a typical horizontal AHU.” A modular design allows all units to be sited via existing doorways and elevators, and ‘final assembled’ at site. ‘No compromise’ on performance, service, or cleaning access, was allowed in the product’s development; units have removable panels, and full wipe-down capability. Multiple configuration options (supply and extract) are available, making the units “uniquely flexible, and eminently suitable, for positive/negative or balanced pressure ‘mission critical’ applications”.
