Clever and innovative new design touches and cost-effective construction feature strongly in the development of Ventura, Static Systems’ latest bedhead services trunking system, shown for the first time at this month’s Healthcare Estates exhibition in Manchester.
Ventura provides clinicians with ‘defined clinical functionality’, while offering flexibility through its design and construction, and ease and speed of installation.
Static Systems’ product design manager, Matthew Clutton explained: “As the market-leader in nurse call and bedhead services trunking, and with over 40 years’ development experience under our belt, we have used our knowledge to incorporate new ideas and installation methods and, most importantly, to ‘value engineer’ this exciting new product.”
Suitable for both on-site and off-site construction, the modular system can be easily expanded or modified by ‘stacking’ together trunking compartments as required.
“As a result of the extensive development process afforded to Ventura, a significant advance in the commonality of component parts has been achieved,” added Matthew Clutton. “This has made assembly much more efficient, leading to a reduction in build time – often a substantial element of overall cost. Ventura is also designed to house the latest structured cabling requirements; both existing and in the future, as new technology and market demands continue to change. I am confident we have a well-engineered, stylish, cost-effective, and future-proofed solution.”
Designed to conform to all relevant British and European standards, Ventura can, the manufacturer says, ‘accommodate the myriad of different requirements essential within modern healthcare establishments, from community hospitals through to the more complex needs of a high dependency unit’. Infection control considerations were also at the forefront of the design, resulting in smooth lines and an uncomplicated profile to aid effective cleaning. In addition, antimicrobial additives are incorporated into the powder coat finish.
