A new health facility for Barrow is now closer following Cumbria County Council’s sale of the former Alfred Barrow School site to eLIFT Cumbria.
Opening the way for a new £12 million town centre NHS health centre that will ‘support wider economic regeneration in Barrow’, and bring up to six GP practices under one roof, alongside community health services from Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
